One of my most vivid memories of the ponds is my wedding day on October 12, 1991. It turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day. One of those fall days where the sky is spectacularly blue.
We were married on the lawn in front of our house. After the ceremony, we had our picture taken by one of the maple trees in front of March Pond. This is my favorite wedding photo -- the backdrop of the sparkling waters of March Pond, the deep blue of the sky, and the brilliant red & orange of the maple leaves -- the bridge and groom framed by Nature.
